Tourism minister Najib Balala said during the GATE VALVES
weekend that his ministry will allocate more funds to the Kenya Tourism Board for it to promote golf in the country.
Balala said golf was an important product for promoting tourism in the country and urged the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) to step up its efforts of promoting the sport by starting golf academies around the country.

for this year’s Nyali Open golf tournament which was sponsored by the Kenya Tourism Board, Balala said no sport can survive without a proper foundation such as youth programmes.
We need to support the youth by starting academies for the future survival of golf in the country. Golf is very prominent for promoting tourism but its future depends on the youth,’’ said Balala.
He said KTB will add support for next year’s Nyali Open, which he PLUG VALVES
